Dr. Misra is both a social worker and a research scientist. His primary academic focus lies in Haematology and Clinical Biochemistry, with particular emphasis on the awareness, screening, and diagnosis of thalassaemia and other haemoglobin disorders that are highly prevalent in this region. He also currently serves as the President of Malda Sammilani Calcutta, an organisation that has long been dedicated to the welfare of people from Malda, West Bengal.
Bibek Bardhan, Founder Secretary of Noble Mission, is a Graduate in Finance as well as Law, with over 45 years of leadership experience in industry. Deeply committed to inclusive development, he has played a key role in strengthening infrastructure, skill development, and quality services for individuals with special needs. He also served as Trustee and Vice Chairman of Special Olympics Bharat, a Federation under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, promoting sports inclusion and manpower development.
Ruma Mukherjee has been the bedrock of Noble Mission for 27 years, dedicating her life to children with diverse needs. Known for her patience and transformative impact, she champions inclusion and innovation. As a Governing Body member, she continues to build pathways for growth, community engagement, and meaningful, individualised success.
Lina Bardhan is a Rehab Psychologist and Special Education Consultant with over 30 years of dedicated service to children and adults with neurodiversity. As Director of Noble Mission, she focuses on functional independence, parental empowerment, and inclusive development, leading the organisation with deep commitment, professional expertise, and compassionate vision.
Sharmistha Basu is a dedicated special needs professional with over 24 years at Noble Mission. As Teacher-in-Charge, she effectively implements government policies and develops adaptive training strategies, supporting young entrants in their transition into the school system and fostering an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.
Chandana Mukherjee brings over 20 years of experience in special education, with a strong focus on inclusive learning. Beginning at Manovikas Kendra, she has served at The Heritage School, Kolkata, and Noble Mission. Currently a Consultant and Academic Coordinator at I Can Flyy, she continues to advance impactful educational practices.
Dr. Sudeshna Bhattacharjee, MBBS and DTM&H, is the founder of Manisha Pathology Clinic. A compassionate medical professional, she brings valuable guidance and deep concern for Noble Mission’s beneficiaries. She strongly supports inclusive care and dignity for individuals with special needs. She is the mother of two daughters, is widely travelled, and has a keen interest in music and reading.
